The transition of the Kyrgyz- Uzbek border Dostuk or Dustlik

Crossing point Dustlik is in 5 km from the city of Osh town.

Working time:

Every day from 8: 00-18 00

Actually, border is opened for 30 minutes more.

Temporarily closed for Kyrgyz and Uzbek citizens.

The only point of the Kyrgyz- Uzbek border, where the transition is open for foreigners.

Movement in both directions is not difficult at all . If you are going to Uzbekistan, you pass the border control of Kyrgyzstan , you are put a stamp on leaving the country , then you are going through easy customs control and go through no man’s land, which is about 50 meters. Then you are on Uzbek Territory. The guards will check your passport, and then you walk into the building, where you fill in customs declaration in 2 copies. You should write currency accurately, because of suspect you may be asked to present your wallet for inspection. If the border is open to local citizens, the passage of the Uzbek part of the border may be very tight. Long crowds are usually here. Usually foreigners don`t wait too long. Uzbek citizens have right to move only in the direction to Uzbekistan, to Kyrgyzstan direction is prohibited. Also Kyrgyz citizens have the right to move only in the direction of Uzbekistan.

It is important:

1.      Turn off the phone while passing the border control, you can get to pay a fine. It is prohibited to make  photos, videos.

2.       The toilet is located in the no man's land -20 KGS.

3.      There are porters, if you have heavy luggage
